Denis V Myatt 1931 2022

Denis Myatt, 90, of Peoples Park Tower and formerly of Jones
St Moncton, NB; passed away at peacefully Spencer Home,
Moncton, on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. Born in Grand Desert, NS; he was
the son of the late Adam and Thecla Myatt.
Denis worked with Trust Companies in Halifax, Bathurst and
Moncton, retiring from TD Trust in Moncton as an Account
Executive.
He was a longtime and active member of St. Augustine’s Roman
Catholic Church, Moncton.
A kind, caring and thoughtful man, he will be remember for
his infectious smile and his willingness of giving his time
unconditionally at work and as a volunteer at church.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 61 years, Albertine
Myatt; and by her siblings, Jean, Beatrice, Sr. Bernadette and Edward
Murphy; he is also by many nieces and nephews.
Denis was the last surviving member of his immediate
family
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Ada and
by three brothers, Frank, Vincent and Joe.
Honouring Denis wishes cremation has taken
place.
The Funeral mass will be held at St. Augustine’s Church,
Corner of Mountain Rd. and Dominion St. Moncton on Friday, July 15,
2022 at 12:00 pm with Fr. Angus Johnson officiating.
Interment will be in Saint Anselm’s Roman Catholic Church
Cemetery, West Chezzetcook, NS at a later date.
Donations in memory of Denis can be made to made to the Saint
Anselm’s Catholic Church Cemetery Fund, West Chezzetcook,
NS.
