Delbert Paul Stafford SR.
September 4, 1948-May 6, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Delbert Stafford on May 6, 2022 at the age of 74 years. He is survived by his son Paul (Shannon) Stafford, daughter Melissa Stafford, step-daughter Stephanie (Gary) Stafford, grandchildren Jessica, Kortney, Ethan, Arianna, Bailey, Mackenzie and Peyton as well as great grandchildren Rowen, Bexley and Zaden. He is also survived by his brother Dale (Joanne) Stafford, sisters Drexell DiGiano, Judy (Russ) Goodman and many nieces and nephews. Del was predeceased by this father Paul Stafford in 1978 and his Mother Florence Stafford in 1997. Del was born and spent his childhood years in Sheerness, Alberta, until his family moved to the Innisfail/Markerville area in his later teens. Although he would live in British Columbia for a few years, Alberta was always his home and he never ventured very far or for very long. Del worked for many years for the Alberta Wheat Pool, taking him all over Alberta until he finally settled in Hanna to be close to his childhood home. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and the community he loved so much. A virtual Memorial service will be held on Saturday June 4th at 1:00pm Via Zoom
