Deborah Ann Mardy (nee Brennan)
January 10, 1948 – April 4, 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Debbie Mardy of Millet, AB on Monday, April 4, 2022 at the age of 74. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Ray; their three children, Lorrie (Andrew), Dawn (Jeff), Stephen (Bryana); as well as her nine grandchildren that she loved very much, Mykayla, Devyn, Jordynn, Brooke, Micah, Raegan, Eastyn, Braedyn, and Owyn; her five siblings, Terry (Pei), Garry (Judy), Roger (Marina), Bonnie (Bob), Jean (Bill); and her brothers-in-law, Brian and Earl (Angie); as well as many other friends and relatives. She was predeceased by her parents, Ray and Ruth Brennan; her in-laws, Stephen and Julia Mardy; and her sister-in-law, Linda Mardy.
She was a proud supporter and volunteer of many Millet community groups and was honoured to be inducted as a Millet Pioneer Woman. She loved spending time in her garden, being involved with family drag racing, wintering in Arizona with the love of her life and supporting her grandchildren in their many sports across Alberta.
A service to honour Debbie will be held at the Millet Agriplex on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with a luncheon to follow.
In honour of Debbie’s 25+ years of service as a dispatcher of the Millet Fire Department (MFD), the family respectfully requests donations to the MFD Memorial Garden Fund (Box 270, Millet, AB T0C 1Z0).
