Obituary of Deborah A. Malott (nee Clarke)
Of St. Thomas, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, in her 64th year. Loving sister of Lynne Clarke of St. Thomas, Larry Clarke (Teresa) of Coldwater, Denise Clarke of St. Thomas, and Gary Clarke (Brian) of Port Sydney. Debbie is also fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Born in St. Thomas, ON, January 8, 1959, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Dorothy (née Soper) Clarke. Debbie was a retired medical secretary at University Hospital, London.
In keeping with Debbie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. By invitation, a private memorial service will be held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160). A properly worn mask is required, and physical distancing will be followed. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. If so desired, memorial donations to Pets/Friends for Life or the charity of your choice will be appreciated.
Sincere appreciation is expressed to Laurie and Jennifer Soper and to the doctors, and nurses of the 4th & 5th floors and CCC Unit of the STEGH, for their compassionate care of Debbie.
