Deanna passed away peacefully on July 3, 2022 at the age of 81.
She was the loving wife of John (2003), caring mother to Anthony (Sabrina), Matthew (Rose) and Paul, and best friend and devoted sister to Linda (Bert).
Deanna was a doting grandmother to Hannah, Amy, Edie, and Logan whom she adored.
She was an aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Deanna loved her family and friends. She regularly hosted holiday gatherings with family and weekly bridge games with friends. There was always coffee brewing and cookies for all who visited. Deanna’s warm personality allowed her to form many friendships. She will be remembered for her selflessness, thoughtfulness and generosity towards everyone in her life, and for always making you feel welcome and comfortable in her home.
Family and friends may call at Turner & Porter at 2357 Bloor Street West on Sunday July 10 from 3-5 PM.
Burial will be at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery on Monday July 11 at 2:00 PM.
Deanna’s lifelong profession was a teacher, specifically to younger children (kindergarten).
