Deanna Doreen Snowdon 1938 2022

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of
Deanna Doreen Snowdon, age 83, of Port
Elgin, NB, on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at her home.

Born in Penobsquis, she was a daughter of the late
Linus and Florence (Holmes) Cook.

Deanna loved watching the hummingbirds in the
morning. She
enjoyed quiet days putting together jigsaw puzzles. There was rarely a night that
went by that she didn’t speak to her brother Rollie.

Deanna will be dearly missed by her children, Sharon
(Brian) Snowdon, Calgary, Peggy (Carson Trenholm) Sears, Dorchester
Cape, Debbie Pepper, Port Elgin, Joy (Charlie) Nixon, Calgary, Roger
Ward, Calgary; several grandchildren, great grandchildren; siblings
Rollie Cook, Fredericton, Keith (Mary) Cook, Calgary, Raymond,
Calgary, Mona (Maurice) Emslie, Massachusetts, Gerry (Dick) Craigon,
Massachussetts, Danny (Marlene) Cook, Selkirk, MB, as well as many
nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by first husband Jack Snowdon,
her second husband Charles Ward, 2 grandchildren, Lawrence and
Anthony; brothers John and Eugene; sister June.

Arrangements are under the care and supervision of
Jones Funeral Home, 70 Bridge Street,
Sackville, NB (506-364-1300). A private family Afternoon of
Remembrance will take place at Jones Funeral Home, Sackville, followed
by cremation.

Donations in memory of Deanna may be made to the
Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of the donor’s
choice.
