Dean (Pork)’s Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of William Dean Morrison, on Monday August 8, 2022 on his home farm while doing what he loved. He was 63 years of age. Loving husband and best friend of the late Sue Morrison (2019). Dean was the incredibly proud, selfless and loving father of Ryan (Martha), Bob (Sarah), Whitney (Butch) and Reid (Kayla). He was a devoted “Grampy” to Hudson, Bryce, Ellie, Teddy and Nash who were his pride and joy. Cherished son of Jane Morrison and the late Bill Morrison. Forever remembered by his siblings Debbie (the late Glenn), Dick (Rae-Anne) and Chas (Kim). Dean enjoyed the last year and a half with his friend Lynn Sellars. Dean will be dearly missed by his extended family and many dear friends.
Dean was an outstanding member of the community. Over the years he was involved in Minor Hockey, curling, the 4-H Club, golf, Paris Agriculture Society, Kinsmen and various other organizations. When “Pork” wasn’t delivering Pioneer Seed to his customers or in the fields farming, you could find him on the pulling track going “Full Throttle”. From the track to the rink, west coast to east coast he would always find time to spark up a conversation with whomever he crossed paths with.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home Ltd. A Celebration of Life Reception will be hosted at the Brantview Events Pavilion located at Brantview Apples and Cider, 225 Howell Rd., St. George, Ontario, on Wednesday August 17, 2022 from 2 – 4 p.m. In typical Morrison fashion, good conversation is likely to break out as you share your stories of Pork. Don’t expect to leave on time and don’t book any evening appointments – you would most likely be late! In Dean’s memory, donations to the Cambridge Ice Hounds Special Needs Hockey Club (www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/cambridgeicehounds/) or the Brant County 4-H Club (eTransfer donation to brantcounty4h@gmail.com) would be appreciated by the family.

So sorry for all of the many family and friends of Dean. He was a really special guy; always with a twinkle in his eye and a joke. He treated us like family and said many times (maybe after a couple of beers) that we were like family. He will be greatly missed, I’m sure.
