Dean G Lovelock 1929 2022

Dean G. Lovelock, 93, formerly of Ayer Ave, Moncton, passed
away peacefully at K.E. Spencer Memorial Home on Saturday, May 21,
2022. Born in Harrisville, he was the son of the late Charles and
Bertha (Fitzsimmons) Lovelock.
Dean retired as an optician, having owned and operated
Brunswick Optical on St. George Street and Island Optical on PEI. He
enjoyed woodworking, listening to music, was an avid car and
motorcycle enthusiast, having specific cars for the seasons. He was a
people person who had many friends all over.
He will be sadly missed by his sons, Jack Lovelock (Terry
Lee), Gary Lovelock (Nancy) and Michael Lovelock; grandchildren, Joe,
Krista, Jenna and Crystal; great grandchildren, Zoe, Sebastien, Eagan,
Kaia, Rose, Henry, Max and Mason; sisters, Lois Deeter and Joy Jones
(Leonard); as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife,
Lorraine Lovelock (nee Bourgeois); sisters, Marjorie, Lillian and
Phyllis; and brothers, Edward, Roger and Peter.
A Service to Celebrate and Honour Dean’s life will
be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Reception will
follow in the Funeral Home Reception Centre.
In memory of Dean, memorial contributions to the charity of
the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Online condolences
