Peacefully at ARCH on Monday, October 3, 2022 at the age of 74, with his partner, Kathy by his side.
Beloved son of the late Rita Gorman. Big brother to Donna (Don). Uncle to Melissa, Chris (Tracy) and their children. Nephew to his special uncle Reg Brand of Kirkland Lake and Raymond Brand. Predeceased by his many aunts and uncles, leaving behind many friends and cousins from all over.
Dean will be missed by his special buddy Jamie Nylander. He will be remembered by his social group Kathy G., Emma, Christine, Dorothy, Mary Lou, Tegs, and many more.
Dean loved antiquing! In his younger days he enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Although Dean passed not having any children of his own, in his later years he enjoyed his life with his partner Kathy and his readymade family of 3 children, 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his favorite grandchild and buddy Teagan.
Dean would like to thank the nurses from Bayshore, especially Mary Ann, the nurses and caregivers at ARCH, Dr. Apostle and the other palliative care doctors, and Dr. Lam and Dr. Rassouli for their care and support.
At Dean’s request, there will be no funeral service.
