Obituary of David Wayne Connor
Age 74, Dartmouth, died Monday, June 13, 2022 in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Spry Bay August 2, 1947, he was a son of the late Henry “Olley” and Ethel (Gerrard) Connor. David was a sheet metal and oil burner technician for many years, working with several different companies. He was well-known for his van that he decked out with lights. While at home working outside he would play his favorite music through the speaker on the light bar. He enjoyed playing washer toss and going four-wheeling. He also loved animals, especially his fur babies, Candy, Teddy, and Cookie. Survived by son, Jeff Connor, Beaver Bank; daughter, Christine Connor, Alberta; grandchildren, Brandon, Devin, and Liam; two great-grandchildren; brother, Harris (Hollie); sister, Thelma (Roger), Massachusetts. A graveside committal will be held Monday, June 20th at 2 p.m. in St. James Anglican Cemetery, Spry Bay (Boutiliers Road) Rev. Tricia Ingram officiating.
