Obituary of David Russo
RUSSO, David
February 20, 1976- July 12, 2022
Passed away peacefully after a short but difficult battle with cancer with his loving family by his side at the age of 46. Beloved son of Franca Russo and the late Luciano (2014). Loving and devoted husband of Tammy (nee Wilson) for 22 years. Cherished father of Parker, Hunter and Carter. Dear brother of Ada Markham, Tina Mariani (Joe), Julia Berthiaume (John) and Al Russo, and brother in-law Chad Wilson (Marie). Dave will be dearly missed by his mother in-law Joann Lukatch (William), and his father in-law Myron Wilson (Debbie). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Dave was an avid fisherman and hunter in his spare time, but most of all he was a beloved family man who cherished his wife and children above all. He had a great sense of humour and lived his life to the fullest. Dave was a sheet metal worker with Eagle Mechanical for almost 30 years and served as a soccer coach for Caboto Soccer Club for the last 10 years. A special thank you to the nurses in the ICU at WRH-Met Campus and the staff at the Cancer Clinic, as well as the nurses and staff at WRH-Ouellette Campus Cardiac Floor for your loving care, support and guidance during Dave’s time. Visiting at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Road East, 519-253-7234 on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place in the chapel on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. If you desire, donations to the Windsor Es Cancer Centre or the Education Trust Fund for the Russo Boys would be greatly appreciated. Cheques can be made payable to Tammy Russo.
