David Harold Michie 1956 2022

Obituary of David Harold Michie
David Michie died in hospital on March 14 in his 66th year from complications from a previous heart surgery.
He was born on March 31, 1956 to John and Ruby Michie and lived his entire life in Halton Hills.
David is survived by his Brother: Philip and his spouse Susan, Sister: Heather and her spouse Mike and Nieces and Nephews: Alexander, Madeline, Jack and Lillian
Dave was a kind and generous brother and uncle, always on a hunt for gifts that would light up our eyes or make our lives a little easier. He loved his nieces and nephews and when they were young, he would get up before sun rise to hide Easter treats in the yard.
His friends and neighbors knew him best for his over the top Halloween and Christmas displays, usually using thousands of lights and an extensive array of inflatable characters. It warmed his heart and made the hundreds of hours of set up and takedown worth it to Dave when he received thank you notes from the community in his mailbox.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of David can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario. A Celebration of Dave’s life will be held at the Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown on Saturday April 09, 2022 from 2-4 p.m.
