Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Wieler long time resident of Grimshaw, AB on April 30, 2022 at the age of 60 years.
David was born on April 9, 1962 in Buffalo Head Prairie, AB to parents, Peter and Katherina (Goertzen) Wieler.
He had a love for hunting, camping, church, rock collecting, and finding a good deal at Uncle Wieners. He was also on the board of Directors at the Grimshaw Victory Church.
He worked at LaPrairie Group from 1998-2014 and then moved on to work at Northern Sunrise County from 2014 until his passing in 2022.
David is survived by his daughters, Stacey, Bailey and Jes Wieler; his mother, Katharina Wieler; siblings, Isaac Wieler, Katharina Harms, Peter Wieler, Heinrich Wieler, Anna Janus and William Wieler.
He was predeceased by his father Peter Wieler.
A Celebration of David’s life will be held on Saturday May 21, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Grimshaw Victory Church.
