Obituary
We are sad to announce the unexpected passing of Dave Stelter at the age of 67 on August 29, 2022, in his home with his wife Colleen by his side.
Dave was born in Mayerthorpe Alberta on March 18, 1955. Dave was raised in Edson Alberta, which is where he also raised his family, worked along side his father and later his own son Ross at Stelter & Son Plumbing and Heating for over 45 years. Dave’s passion of the outdoors through trapping and hunting was shared by his father, brother and sons. Dave’s mentoring and love has now passed that same passion onto his grandchildren. The trend in his life was family and no matter what he did or pursued it always circled back to family.
Dave was survived by his loving wife and best friend of 22 years Colleen (ovens) , his two sons Ross (Linsay) Scott(Genn) . He will be greatly missed by his four grandchildren, Jett, Joaquin, Bella and Gus. He is also survived by his brother Rick (Diane) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dave was predeceased by his parents Gus and Rita Stelter.

Colleen would like to thank the kind and compassionate Emergency Response Team and RCMP who came to her aid.
A Funeral Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #51 in Edson on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 11:00 AM with interment to follow at the Glenwood Cemetery.
