David Murray Hall March 27 th , 1941-April 29 th , 2022
It is with a great deal of sadness that we announce the passing of David Murray Hall, on April 29, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. David was the son of Thomas and Virginia (Sampson) Hall, born and raised in Sydney, NS. Dave will be forever loved, missed and remembered.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Patricia (Trish as he called her, nee Fitzgerald), Daughter Barbara Hall, Mark (Suzanne) Hall and Scott (Tania) Hall. Grandchildren Brandon, Mitchell, Joshua, Samantha and Devon Hall, Jakob and Zach Hall, Joshua and Benjamin Hall, and Eight Great Grand Children. Also survived by his brother Lawrence (Gwen) Hall and sister-in-law Johnena Hall. Predeceased by his brothers Thomas and Bernard ; sister-in-law Marie.
At the age of 18 with his parents and brother Bernie he moved to Bedford, where he lived the rest of his rewarding life. He was active in community affairs as part of the Bedford Volunteer Fire Department for 13 years and a member of the Bedford Lions Club serving as President in 1988. Dave’s business career involved business’ in the Atlantic Provinces, Quebec, Ontario and the United States. Dave loved people and loved having a good kitchen party while playing his guitar and his father’s mandolin with his brother Lawrence. He also loved a good game of Crib.
Visitation will be held at T.K. Barnard Funeral Homes, 85 Sackville Cross Rd, Lower Sackville, NS.
