David Michael Brierley, I think it’s go back to work yeah a lot of them sometimes it tell me they had to stay off work for 10 days yeah OK IMAX company why policy yeah yes yes I read the instructions mesicdied on November 8, 2022 at his home in Fergus, Ontario, Canada. He was predeceased by his first wife MarieIla (nee Pollonais). He is survived by his wife Carolyn, (Adam), his sons Gerard (Gerry) and Peter, his brother Desmond (New Zealand), and his step children Kevin Adam, Christine Tafaro and their families. David was born on October 8, 1935 in Port of Spain, Trinidad. David embarked on what would become a long and rewarding career at The Bank of Nova Scotia as an office boy in Trinidad. His work ethic and natural ability were soon recognized and this led to a series of promotions and advancements. In 1971 David and his family moved to Toronto to start a new life. By 1990 he had been appointed Senior Vice president of the International Division, Credit which he held until his retirement in 1996. David and Carolyn were married in 1998 and spent their first 2 years together in Bermuda, where David held the position of Senior Vice President of The Bank of N.T. Butterfield’s. He and Carolyn eventually retired to the country where they enjoyed their horses and dogs, and hikes on the Bruce Trail. There were also several travel adventures which took them to destinations in Europe, South America and the Antarctic. David’s life will be celebrated by his immediate family.
