On the 22nd of December our beloved father, David Lepoidvin, found his rest in Jesus. Dave was born on Dec. 19th, 1946 in Restigouche, New Brunswick and grew up in Oak Bay, Quebec. Dave was predeceased by his much-loved wife, Debbie. He leaves behind his five children Cory, Chris (and Sandy), Charlie, Michelle, Meagan (and Johnny), and many adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his many siblings. Dave was always quick to laugh, could fix just about anything (except electrical!), and was always there to help us or give us a ride when needed. He delighted in nature and animals, content to sit and watch birds with a good pair of binoculars for as long as he could or laugh at silly animal videos. He would often buy a meal for someone in need while he went about his long work days. Nobody worked as hard as our Dad to fulfil his responsibilities. If it meant riding one of his kid’s bicycles to work when the car broke down, he would do it to take care of us. He could tell you how any machine worked, how plants grow, it seemed like he knew everything -especially how to make the best fried potatoes! He had many interesting stories to tell and told them well, some darn good jokes, and some deep wisdom if you had the chance to have a quiet chat with him. Dave was strong and brave, with rough, work-worn hands that were so beautiful to us-the physical sign of how much he loved us. We already miss you so much Pa, but your work is now done and you can rest. We look forward to that day when you can joyfully embrace mom again and Jesus exclaims “Well done, good and faithful servant!”
We offer our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of David Lepoidvin December 22nd 2022 and hope that their memory may be a source of comfort during this difficult time. Your thoughts and kind words are greatly appreciated.
