Obituary
It is with great sadness we share that David Reid passed away February 25, 2022, at the age of 89.
David will be lovingly remembered by his children; Scott (Julia), Heather (Doug) and Stuart (Christine); his beautiful grandchildren: Abbey, Stephanie, Jordan, Jack, Isabelle, Ben and Elizabeth.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth, in 2005.
David was born in Calgary to parents Dorothy and Jock Reid, raised in Turner Valley and moved to Edmonton when he was 16. As a young man he spent several years at Port Radium, NWT, before settling back to Edmonton to marry and raise a family. He enjoyed a longstanding career with the Federal Government and a healthy retirement. David enjoyed many things – a glass of scotch, a good joke, hockey, football, Seinfeld, traveling, the theatre, his church, his friends and most of all, his family.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, March 9 at St Luke’s Anglican Church 8424-95 Avenue NW, Edmonton.
