Obituary
We are sad to announce the passing of David Welke, at the age of 75 years, on February 8, 2022 at the Foothills Hospital. Dave is lovingly remembered by his wife Christine, daughter Nancy, son Peter (Krista), grandson Wyatt; as well as many friends and family members. Dave was born in Germany and at the age of six years moved to Canada with his parents to start a new life. He loved football, horse racing, woodworking and camping. He worked for many years at his own company, Welke Western Demolition. The family would like to thank the staff of the ICU at the Foothills Hospital for their very kind and compassionate care they gave Dave and the family. At Dave’s request, there will be no funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
