David’s Obituary
There are few words to express the deep pain and sorrow of losing our father, Dave Booth, who passed away on December 4th, 2022 at 12:15 am.
He peacefully passed and is now not struggling to breathe.
He had pancreatic cancer, pneumonia, on top of numerous other diagnoses. His lung capacity was at a 30%.
His wishes were to be cremated and for us to “continue to live life”. He requested no funeral.
He has been in and out of both Edmonton and Slave Lake hospitals for the past 7 years. Numerous Doctors and Nurses never gave up on him and he was always ready to fight his battles with a smile.
Mom was by his side; every appointment, surgery, follow up and procedures. Mom and Dad together, never gave up.
To add, “Dave Booth Taxidermy” never closed. In between his hospital stays, he still showed up for work; his dream job.
You are surely missed, Dad. ❤️
In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Lung Association are welcome in Dad’s honour: www.lung.ca/donate-and-post-your-message
