David Allen Smith (Smitty)
1962 – 2022
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of David,
our beloved father, Papa, son, brother and uncle on February 8, 2022
at the Saint John Regional Hospital, with his pride and joy Morgan and
close family members by his side. David was the son of Donnie and
Wanda (Buchanan) Smith of McAdam, NB.
David’s life was devoted to his daughter Morgan, his
grandchildren Deliliah and Ellie and to his parents.
In addition to his daughter, granddaughters and parents, David is
survived by brothers Wayne (Stephanie) and Kevin, both of McAdam, NB,
Rick (Amanda) of Waweig, NB and Tony of Winnipeg; his sisters Shelly
of Barrie, ON and Pam (Scott) of Waasis, NB; his chosen sons Jeff
(Terri) and Jason of Edmonton, AB; in addition to numerous aunts,
uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Over his short-lived life, David worked for W&R Gillespie and more
recently for MacKay’s Garage.
David will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life time of visitation at
108 Old Harvey Road, McAdam, NB on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 2
to 4 pm. Due to government COVID regulations, masks will be required.
For those who wish to make a donation in memory of David, it has been
suggested a donation to Morgan.
