Obituary
David Alfred Wright born Nov 16, 1940 to Gordon and Mildred. His sister, Barbara, passed away at a young age. He passed away Apr 29th, 2022 age 81. He married Carol Ann Bent with 2 children: Stephen, Cheryl and one grandchild, Emily. In his sunset years he was loved by Leona Rodrigue.
He was a man whom you took an instant liking to and who was always lending a helping hand. He didn’t have neighbours, he had FRIENDS that lived next door. This was true in Dartmouth, NS, Fairvale, NB, and finally Saint John, NB. His friendships were not short lived. Lewis and Cathy Moulton were two such friends. They were ‘family’ from his childhood to his last day.
A neighbour on a personal level. A social worker on a professional level. Local politics on a civic level. And finally a minister to help with guidance.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). The Celebration of David’s life will be held from St. David’s United Church (7 Gondola Point Road, Rothesay) on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at 11am with visitation one hour prior. For everyone’s protection, his family asks that everyone attending the funeral service, please wear a face mask.
