Dave Buehlow Monday September 26th 2022

E. David Buehlow of Walkerton passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton, at age 82. Beloved husband of Liz and father to Steve (Jan) of Priceville, and Scott (Tammy) of Hanover. He was the proud grandpa of Brittany (Brett) Hawkins, Tory (Aaron) Pope, Emily (Dom Veroni), Carter (Kat Storkson), and great grandpa of Lennon.
David is predeceased by his brothers Wayne and Robert, and his parents John and Eileen Buehlow.
Dave was married to Liz, the love of his life, for over 61 years. His family meant everything to him. He was a Walkerton boy at heart and the guys he grew up with were his life-long friends. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved walking in the bush along the Saugeen River. Camo was his fashion of choice. He also had a great love of hockey and spent many hours at the arena as a coach and spectator.
Dave started his banking career in 1959 with the Bank of Montreal in Walkerton. He went on to manage several Trust companies in Hanover and Walkerton before opening his own investment business in 1994. In July 2003 he sold Dave Buehlow Investments to Cornerstone Financial and retired to spend more time hunting, gardening, and watching hockey.
A private family interment will be held at the Walkerton Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters or Grey-Bruce Animal Shelter, would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements entrusted to Cameron’s Cremation & Funeral Services, Walkerton.
