Daryl Baker, passed away on July 31st, 2022 at the age of 70 years. This tremendous loss will be felt by many who loved him near and far. He was a kind, proud, strong, loving man who always put his family first. Please keep his family close to your heart as they navigate this difficult time. Daryl is survived by his loving wife Donna (Pickett) Baker and by his children Bonnie Dielman (Demetrius) and Brian Baker. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Dominick, Makenzie and Brenden Baker and Brooklyn and Hudson Dielman. Also missed by Helga Baker, Joanne Dunk and Brenda Emburg and their families. Predeceased by his parents George and Audrey Baker and by brothers Glenn and Duane.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday, August 5th, 2022 from 2-4 pm. A service in celebration of Daryl’s life will be held in the chapel at 4 pm followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Bone Marrow Transplant Team at the Ottawa Hospital Foundation Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (TCT) Program.
