Darryl Thomas Gray
North Sydney – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Darryl Thomas Gray, on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. Born in North Sydney on July 10, 1964, he was the son of Viola (Chislett) Gray and the late Robert (Bob) Gray.
Darryl, better known to a lucky few as D-Bot or Big-D, was a loving father who spent countless hours at the rink, soccer and baseball fields and traveling all over with motocross making many friendships along the way. He could be often found working in the garden, in the barn or gone fishing with friends especially the late Lawrence “Spaghetti” Mansfield.
He is survived by his three sons, Daniel (Andrea) Gray, granddaughters Willow and Adelynn, Robert (Faith) Gray and James (Bretony) Gray. Darryl also leaves behind siblings Robert (Cathy) Gray and Kimberly (Joe) King, along with an aunt, Ann Chislett, and an uncle, Denis (Linda) Chislett, Godchildren Jefferey and Margaret and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
At Darryl’s request, there will be no funeral service or visitation. Donations in memory of Darryl may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Online condolences may be sent to the family by leaving a message on the tribute wall of the obituary at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
