Obituary
With sorrowful hearts we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, Darla “Dar” Glosser, in her home in Edson, Alberta, on August 9, 2022, at the age of 55. Darla was surrounded with love as she passed, and we are comforted in the knowledge that her battle with cancer is over, and she is at peace.
Darla “Dar” Lin Glosser was a caring: wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Dar was born with a kind soul and a heart of gold, to Donald and Dora Kirby, on August 22, 1966, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Darla met the love of her life, Rob Glosser, in Prince George. After graduating from high school, Darla moved to High Level where Rob and she were married on April 27, 1985.Together, Darla and Rob had one child, Dustin.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Darla. Darla had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities and her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. Dar loved to spend time with family, friends, to golf, and to be with her dogs. Most weekends would find her golfing, curling, or volunteering and later in life making fantastic deals on “Bidding Wars!”
Darla will be lovingly remembered by her spouse Rob. Darla will also be remembered in a loving manner by her son Dustin; her grandsons Liam and Max; her parents Donald and Dora; siblings Pernell (Joanne), Dale (Teresa), and Terry (Lisa). There are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and friends who will also hold Darla’s memory in their hearts.
It is with deep appreciation to our family, friends, and co-workers for all their love, support, and thoughtful words during this difficult time.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Foothills Memorial Chapel on August 18, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Chaplain Garry Kueffler presiding.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Darla Lin Glosser August 22 1966 August 9 2022 (age 55)..
