Mayo, Daphne, Passed peacefully away at the Health Science Center on Friday, May 27,2022 Daphne Mayo of Hants Harbour. Predeceased by parents Blanche and Arthur Mayo and Uncle Douglas Short.Left to mourn with fond and loving memories sister: Beverly (Terry), brothers: Jim, David (Sherri), Roy (Marlin), nieces: Karla (Keith), Sheryl (Billy), Brittany (Kirk), nephews: Arthur (Simone), David (Lynn), Kirk (Jeannie), Ryan (Erin), James (Nadra), Zachary (Taylor), and her great and great-great nieces and nephews. Also special family friends Rona Janes and family along with a large circle of other relatives and close friends.The family is very thankful and forever grateful for the care Daphne received from the nurses and doctors of 5 south A. They would also like to extend their gratitude to the staff and management of Winter Home Manor and Winslow Ridge Estates for the compassionate care given to their sister and aunt.Cremation has taken place. Visitation to take place at Green’s Funeral Home, Winterton, on Wednesday June 1,2022 from 7-9pm. Service will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel, Winterton, on Thursday June 2,2022 at 2 pm with interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Hants Harbour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, Diabetic Association, or a charity of one’s choice.
