Danya-Lee Margaret Kearsey
June 23, 1990 – November 23, 2022.
In loving memory of Danya-Lee Margaret Kearsey who passed away on November 23rd, 2022, at the age of 32 years. She leaves behind her daughter Evelynn Langlois. Danya was the beloved daughter of Evelyn (Lynn) Rennehan (predeceased 2002) and Daniel Kearsey. She is sadly missed by her stepfather Jose Alvarenga. Lovingly remembered by her sisters Erica Kearsey, Shanna Kearsey and brother, Joshua Alvarenga. She was the granddaughter of Jean Rennehan (predeceased 2015) and Donald Rennehan. Danya will be missed by her stepsiblings, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Danya was known for her welcoming, “no judgment” nature and she was a true friend to many. Her contagious laughter, kind heart and youthful spirit will always be remembered by those who loved her. There is comfort in believing that Danya has been reunited with her loving mother and her grandmother.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff at Health Sciences North for their compassion and care for Danya in her final days.
Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects to Danya on Sunday, December 4th, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street in Sudbury, Ontario. In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be a private burial service at a later date.
