Obituary for Danielle Sands
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Danielle ‘Dani’ Louise Sands, a member of Walpole Island First Nations on February 7, 2022 at the age of 36. Loving daughter of Carla Kewayosh (Thomas Shipman) and Kenneth Sands. Dearest Sister of Corey Sands (Patricia Maracle) and Lyric Wright. Granddaughter of Wilcy Sr. and the late Lucille (2011) Kewayosh as well as the late Maurice (1998) and Priscilla (1990) Sands. Dani will be missed by many Aunties, Uncles and Cousins. Family and friends are invited for community visitation at Walpole Island Evangelistic Centre on Wednesday February 9, 2022 from 2-8pm. Her Funeral Service will be held at on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 2pm followed by burial at Highbanks Cemetery.
