Obituary of Daniel Basil Tracey
Dan’s family are devastated to announce his passing at his home on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at the age of 46. Left to mourn this tragic loss is his wife Marisa Tracey and his children Chloe, Brody and Jaxen Tracey, his stepchildren Malaina, Caden and Dani Stopchycki. He will be fondly remembered by Marisa’s family and his many extended family and those that knew him as a fellow Comrade in the Armed Forces. His career in the Armed Forces spanned more than 21 years, where he served his country to ensure freedom for all Canadians. Family and his many friends are welcome to gather for a service to celebrate his heroic life at Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at United Cemeteries in Carleton Place from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Soldier On.
