Obituary for
Daniela Lavinia Roman
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Daniela Lavinia Roman “Dana” on December 15th 2022 at the age of 51.
She is celebrated by her two sons, Emanuel Andrei Roman and Teodor Nicolas Roman; her mother, Angelica Nantu; brother, Gabriel Nastasa; and many other nieces, nephews and relatives back in Romania.
Daniela was born on Sept 19, 1971 in Bacau Romania. She lived the early stages of her life in Romania, completing her education as a mechanical engineer until she departed for Canada in August of 2008 to give her boys a better life and more opportunities.
She worked at IRCC for many years where she has fostered many friendships and touched peoples hearts everywhere she went.
Her favorite moments were spent cooking in the kitchen surrounded by her family.
Daniela had a loving and caring nature that will never be forgotten.
