On Wednesday, October 12, 2022, Mr. Daniel Wayne Wigmore of Oliver passed away after a long illness at the age of 53 years.
He was predeceased by his father, Angus Wigmore; Grandma and Grandpa McKnight and Grandma and Grandpa Wigmore.
Dan will be fondly remembered by his loving family, including son, Dustin Wigmore (Jillian) and grandchildren; Grace, Savannah, MacKenzie and Chlöe; daughter, Samantha Wigmore and grandchildren Isabella and Alexia; son, Coltin Wigmore; brothers, Evan Wigmore (Mary Ann) and Bill Wigmore (Liza); mom, Dianna Weichel (Cliff) as well as many extended family and friends.
Over the years, Dan worked at the Rialto and owned and operated Valley Janitorial and Dan’s Do It All.
Dan was very community oriented and supported or volunteered his time at many community events.
He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards, dancing, social gatherings (food and a fire), gardening and cooking.
Donations are gratefully accepted for the Oliver or Osoyoos Food Banks.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Chapel.
