Daniel’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Daniel Paul announce his sudden passing on Friday, September 9th 2022, at the age of 55, at his home in Millville with his loving wife by his side. Born in Botwood, NL to the late Thomas and Annie Paul (nee Gunn). Daniel was also predeceased by his brothers; Alvin (Abbie) Paul, Tom Paul, Frank Paul, sisters; Juanita Paul, and Marie Paul, mother and father in-law; Joseph and Doreen Anderson, and nephews; Jason Adams, Colin Anderson and Isaac Anderson.
Leaving to mourn his soul mate of 27 years; Catherine, two adored children; Chantelle (Eric) Smears and DJ Paul, the absolute apples of his eye, his grand kids; Emma and Austin.
Daniel will also be missed by his siblings; Betty (Steve) Adams, Louise (John) Hynes, Darren (Eileen) Paul, Rhonda Paul, Rauleigh (Marlene) Paul, sister in-laws; Sylvia Paul and Beverly Hume, in-laws; Marg (gerry) White, Rose (Richard) Smith, Mike (Hilda) Anderson, Henry (Diane), Greg (Mondella), Yvonne (Jim) Rowlands, Francis (Nancy) and Fred (Ann) Anderson along with an abundance of much loved nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
Dan was a fun loving, motorcycle riding giant teddy bear with a personality that would light up a room. He got to realize his dream of retiring in the Codroy Valley.
There will be a wake at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church in Upper Ferry on Thursday September 15th from 2-4 pm. and 7-9 pm. The funeral mass will take place on Friday, September 16th at 2 p.m. officiated by Father Ed Terry. Interment will be at a later date.
