Kelly – We are sad to
announce the passing of Daniel “Danny” Lee Kelly, of
Summerside, aged 63 years. Danny passed away peacefully on Wednesday,
May 11, 2022, surrounded by his family at the Prince County Hospital,
Summerside. Born in Summerside, he was the son of Marion (Doucette)
and the late Emmett Kelly. Survived by his daughters Nicole (Luke) and
Jill (Thomas); their mother Noella (Gallant); grandsons Bo and Jack;
brothers and sisters Eugene (Louise), Cheryl (David) MacDonald, Pat
(Janet), Paul (Pam), Pam (Scott) Cousins and Gary (Sandra); and by
numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. The family would like to
thank and acknowledge many people who have supported Danny in his last
few months: many nurses from the Prince County Hospital and HomeCare,
Dr. Monica McNeill, Dr. Zotova, Dr. Sharpe, Dr. McDonell and Dan
Heroux. Resting at Moase Funeral Home, Summerside. Completed
arrangements to be announced later. In lieu of flowers,
memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or
KidSport PEI would be appreciated.
