Little, Daniel Gordon
Died suddenly on Wednesday June 15, 2022 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie surrounded by his loving family at the age of 50. Dan of Stayner, beloved spouse and best friend of Amanda Downey. Loving father of Brandon Little, Leah (Rob Winton), Dayton Little and step-daughter Brooke Downey. Cherished grandfather of Ebony Downey and R.J. Winton. Dear son of Daniel Little (Sara) and Barbara Pearce (Roy). Dear son-in-law of Lynn and Derek Downey. Dan will also be missed by his aunts and Uncles – Beth, Tim, Ted, Fran and their families, his brothers-in-law Scott (Victoria) and Ryan (Cari) and their families, his many cousins and his numerous friends. Dan was a quiet man who would often break his silence with a witty or sarcastic comment. He was a skilled mechanic and loved photography. He was a fixture within the stock car community as a driver, mechanic and photographer. He is gone too soon and will be deeply missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Stayner Chapel, 7313 Highway 26, Stayner on Tuesday June 21, 2022 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday June 22, 2022 in the funeral home chapel at 1 o’clock. Cremation to follow. If desired, a contribution to assist Dan’s family with future opportunities for his children would be appreciated.
