Peacefully, with his wife by his side, on July 17, 2022 at 76 years of age. Beloved wife and best friend of Laura. Loving father to Andrew (Debbie), Peter (Emily), and Victoria (Aaron) Lapczuk. Cherished Grandpa and Papa to Julia, Jake, Freya, Owen, and Eric. Predeceased by parents Mark & Marian Lewis, and his sisters Judith and Diana and granddaughter Lola. Dearest son-in-law of Douglas and Myra McCauley. Fondly remembered by his dear friends Fred and Cathy Mitchell.
Dan was a former officer with the Toronto Police Service and was a Funeral Director for 20 years in the Windsor-Es community.
Special thanks to the caregivers that helped Dan over the years, especially those at Extendicare Southwood Lakes who became like family to him.
If you so desire, memorial donations to the MS Society would be appreciated by the family. Cremation has taken place.
A private family interment will be held at a later date.
