Daniel Dan G Steeves 1952 2022

Daniel “Dan” G. Steeves, 69,
of St. Paul, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Monday,
May 30, 2022. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late James and
Hazel (Smith) Steeves.
Dan was an avid outdoorsman whether it
was him working on his tractor or hunting or fishing, those were his
happy places.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of
49 years, Marion Steeves (nee Hicks); daughter, Lorna Steeves (Jason);
son, James Steeves (Venessa); grandchildren, Samantha (Nick), Logan,
Evan and Vincent; great grandchildren, Mars and Arlo; sister, Mae
Funk; brothers, Delbert Steeves (Becky) and Charles Steeves (Eleanor);
as well as several nieces, nephews and extended
family.
In addition to his parents, he was
predeceased by his infant son, Daniel Jr; sister, Joy; and brothers,
James, Vaughan, Robert and Melvin.
The family would like to say a
heartfelt thank you to Dr. Abdel-Samad and the many nurses and staff
of the Moncton Hospital Oncology Dept for the tremendous care and
compassion shown to Dan and his family over the last 10
years.
A time of fellowship and refreshments
will be shared in the Fergusons Funeral Home Reception Centre, 1657
Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 6:00
to 8:00 pm. Interment will take place at Fisher Hill
Cemetery.
In memory of Dan, memorial
contributions to a charity of the donor’s choice would be
