It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dalton Eric Kring of Shannonville on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Belmont Long Term Care Facility in Belleville. Dalton was in his 94th year.
Beloved husband of 67 years to Ada Kring (nee Maracle) and father to the late Lauren Gray (nee Kring), Phillip Kring (Dora), Brian Kring (Theresa), Stanley Kring (Patsy), and Todd Kring (Janet). Loving son of the late Stanley and Henrietta Kring and brother to the late Eunice Tooley (George), the late Bob Kring (Jenny), the late Ken Kring (survived by Louise), and Doreen Young (Charles). Dear grandfather to Ashley (Charlie), Thomas (Sarah), Andrew, Erica, Evin, Adam (Michelle), Jenna, Melanie, Kelsey, Anna, Darren, the late Jordyn, Jamie, Edward, Derek, and great-grandfather to Ben, Matthew, Olivia, Ellie-Ann, Reese, Adalyn, and Winston. Fondly remembered by his many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to the staff at Belmont Long Term Care Facility for your dedicated care and compassion during his stay.
Family and Friends will be received at M.J. Smith and Son Funeral Home, 78 Centre Street, Deseronto on Thursday, January 13th from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00p.m. A funeral service for the family will be held Friday, January 14th with an interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery.
Donations to the Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Due to COVID restrictions we kindly asked that family and friends who will be attending the visitation be respectful of one another and practice physical distancing outside and inside the funeral home and face masks are required.
