Dalton Ann 2022

Ann Dalton (nee Walker) Aug 12, 1933 – Oct 21, 2022.
On Friday, Oct 21, 2022, Ann passed away at St Mary’s hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind daughter Mary (Derek), grandchildren Nathan, Emma and Noah, daughter Catherine (Michael), grandchildren Mark and Matthew, son Peter (Sigrid), grandchildren Melissa and Gregory, and great-grandchildren Makayla, Mia, Tessa and Tayla. She is predeceased by her brothers Reg and David, and parents Reginald James Walker and Ruby Alice Wyatt.
Ann was active member of the St. Patrick’s Square community, where she had many friends, including life-time friend Norma Hayes. She enjoyed baking, playing pool, swimming, reading, gardening, and volunteering at her residence.
A registered nurse, who graduated from The Montreal General Hospital in 1954, she first worked as a flight attendant with Trans Canada Airlines, sometimes working with her pilot brothers – The Flying Walkers.
She continued her career as a nurse working with war veterans, then later caring for the elderly.
She loved to have her family around her and often hosted holidays for the entire extended family.
Ann was a kind and compassionate care-giver who always put her family first. She raised three children on her own with love, humour and integrity. We were so very lucky and will miss her greatly.
A celebration of life will be held from 10:00 to 1:00 at Kane and Fetterly, 5301 Decarie Blvd, with a service at 10:30.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Dalton Ann 2022..
