Kaiser, Dale Glenwood Age 68, of
Dartmouth, Halifax Co., and formerly of Port Bickerton, Guysborough
Co. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our
dear husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend on Sunday,
January 16, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in
Port Bickerton, he was a son of the late Eric and Jessie (Wood)
Kaiser. Dale was involved in all three elements of the Canadian Armed
Forces, from 1972 until 1992, serving in IFD, AMB, CFB Gagetown, CFB
Greenwood, Can-log Com, Golan Heights, 1 SVC B+1 Calgary, HMCS
Protecteur, CFB Winnipeg, CFB Goose Bay, then returning to Halifax
where he was employed at Metro Transit as a bus operator for 22 years.
Prior to enrolling in the military, he attended Pictou Regional
Vocational School. He was also a member of The Veterans UN NATO, Nova
Scotia. He enjoyed spending time at his cottage in Port Bickerton.
Dale had a passion for Kayaking, beach combing, motorcycling, painting
and music. Dale is survived by his wife, Barbara (Downey); sons,
Jonathan (May), Joshua (Chelsea); brothers, Brian (Coreen), DeVerne,
Kurt (Cindy); sisters, Janice (Jerry), Marjorie-Jane (Donnie);
grandchildren, Ben, Aloysius, Sadie; many nieces, nephews, and their
families. He was predeceased by sister-in-law, Barb Kaiser and infant
brother, Bradley Michael. A graveside service
will be held Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 11:00 am in Hillside
Cemetery, Port Bickerton. Memorial donations may be
made to Hillside Cemetery Fund. The family would like to express a
special thank you to Mike and Loretta Stefura for their love and
support during Dale’s illness. Funeral arrangements are
under the dignified and compassionate care of G.W. Giffin Funeral
