Dako Daniel Vukobrat 1935 2022

Obituary of Dako “Daniel” Vukobrat
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dako on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Mara for 69 years. Cherished father of Zena Deanovic (Dragi) and Nada (Linda) Delibato (Fulvio). Much loved grandfather of Tihana Deanovic, Jimmy Deanovic (Ashley), the late Vincent Delibato, Dako (Daniel) Delibato and great-grandfather of Daxton, Zayne and Cruz. He will be sadly missed by his nephews Nick and Eli Stipanovic and their families, as well as by his many family and friends in Canada and abroad. Dako came to Canada in 1962 and after securing a job at Dofasco as a crane operator he made Hamilton his home and never looked back. He raised a family and made many friends, always serenading them with his music as he played the violin and bass guitar with his Orchestra Morava. Family and friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Pomen 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd. S., Hamilton on Friday, January 14, 2022 at 12 p.m. with The Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery.
