Daisy grew up in Western Bay. Her father passed away at a young age, leaving her mother to raise a family of 9 children on her own. Daisy grew up knowing how important family was. She was always there to support in any way and loved with her entire heart.
During her 57 years of marriage, she supported Don throughout his career at HMP. Together they built a life and a family. They were involved in the Church Community of The Parish of The Ascension, Mount Pearl, and St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, St. Pete’s Beach, Florida. Daisy was a member of the Alter Guild/ACW which brought great joy to her.
Daisy’s 30 years of home day care meant everything to her. She instilled love, friendship and character building in every child. She always had a goodie bag for any child who came to visit.
Daisy’s true happy place was the Florida life her and Don shared. Their 42 years travelling to St. Petersburg has given them so many memories, adventures and great friendships. She loved the sunshine and the people. She will be greatly missed.
