Levy, Cyril Francis- 88, Sheet Harbour Passage died Saturday December 24, 2022 in Eastern Shore Memorial Hospital. Born November 15, 1934 in Sheet Harbour Passage he was a son of the late George & Viola (Stuart) Levy. Cyril was a seasonal lobster fisherman for many years, carpenter, was employed with Eric Rutledge, and then with Teleglobe for 28 years. He enjoyed duck hunting, mackerel and sea trout fishing, playing cards with friends, he enjoyed his grandchildren immensely, and loved to laugh and enjoy a good joke. He was a long-time member of St. Margaret’s Anglican Church, Sober Island. Survived by his wife of 67 years Margaret, children; Terry (Bonnie), New Glasgow, Heather, Ottawa, grandchildren; Jeremy, Brandon (Jocelyn), Danielle (John), great grandchildren; Arthur, Anabelle, Tristian and Charlotte Rae. Brothers; Laurie and Basil, sisters; Verna (Orville), Nancy (Bob), Donna (Greg) Rutledge, Virginia (Bob) Cry. Predeceased by daughter Valerie Levy-Rioux, brothers Lloyd, Arnold, Willard, Carl and Wayne, infant brother Clyde. Visitation will be held Wednesday December 28 from 7-9p.m. in DS Crowell & Son Funeral Home Ltd 22558 Highway 7 Sheet Harbour. Funeral service will be held Thursday December 29 at 2p.m. in St. Margaret’s Anglican Church, Sober Island, Rev. Dr. Michael Foley officiating, burial to follow in the church cemetery. Family flowers only, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Multiple Sclerosis Society, Canadian Cancer Society or St. Margaret’s Anglican Church, Sober Island.
