Rolfe, Cynthia Ann “Cindy” – 70, of Aylesford, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022 in Digby General Hospital. Born in Middleton, she was a daughter of the late Arnold and Lillian (Lightfoot) Jones. Cindy was a loving woman who cared for everyone around her but especially her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren were the center of her world. Whether cooking or cleaning, Cindy was a hard worker and she always put the needs of others before her own. Surviving are her sons, Mark (Suzie Beamish) Cooke, Oshawa, ON; Peter (Debbie) Cooke, Oshawa, ON; Chris (Crystal) Cooke, Kingston, NS; sisters Cathy (Scott) Berringer, Kingston, NS; Emma “Dianne” Veinotte, Nictaux; brothers Gary Jones, Scarborough, ON; Timothy (Beverly Saltzman) Jones, Auburn; and the father of her boys, Richard Cooke; grandchildren, Christopher Cooke, NB, Lealen Cooke, NS, Dawson Cooke, NS, Christien MacLean, PEI, Paige Russell, ON, Brittany Scotton, ON; great-grandchildren, Chance Russell, Mya Russell, Ainsleigh Scotton and Josie Scotton. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her second husband Arnold Rolfe; brother Dale; and her little black pug Chopper.
