Peacefully at Georgian Bay General Hospital, Midland, Ontario, after a lengthy illness. Husband of the late Helen Irene Tonn, father of Elizabeth (David), Jane, Carla and David (Sharon); grandfather of Rachel, Jennifer, Aleisha (Mark), Michael (Polly), William and Cian; and great-grandfather of Sam, Maisie and Henry. He is survived by five siblings; Frankie (the late Norman Legere), Billy (Ellen), Richard (May), Mary (Ronnie Sinnamon) and Alec (Agnes), and by thirteen nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home in Elmvale from 5-8 pm Thursday, September 1, 2022. A funeral service will be held at the Lynn-Stone Funeral Home on Friday at 11 am.
