GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALTA. – Wallace Craig Richard, 32, Grande Prairie, Alta., passed away, Saturday, November 5, 2022.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Rhonda MacInnis and Wallace Richard. Craig enjoyed “life on the edge” – an avid BMX and skateboarder – always “flying low”. Throughout his life, he was a loyal and loving friend and very much appreciated his friends. At a young age, Craig met Danielle and Dakota, his BFF’s, through “thick and thin” they were always there for each other. He amassed many friends, to numerous to mention, throughout Canada. Craig leaves us with a pleasant memory – on hand on the skateboard, hair flying in the wind – soaring to the angels.
Surviving are his mother, Rhonda MacInnis (Byron), Saint John, N.B.; father, Wally Richard, Linacy; are his son, Forrest Nidish and his mother, Stephanie Nidish, Grimshaw, Alta.; paternal grandmother, Betty (Dobson) Richard, Linacy; aunts, godmother Michele (Owen), Westville; Lynn Marie (Ron) Clow, Hampshire, P.E.I.; uncles, Jim (Stephanie), Wroxeter, Ont.; Trevor, Trenton; several great-aunts and great-uncles; numerous cousins; godfather, Bruce Young, Linacy.
He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Dougie and Colette (McChesney) McInnis; paternal grandfather, Wallace Richard; best friend, Will Tracey.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Linacy Fire Hall at a date and time to be announced.
Donations may be made in Craigs memory to Viola’s Place Society.
