Craig Douglas Grant
June 18, 1949 – July 6, 2022
Age 73 – passed away suddenly at his home in Beaverbank on July 6th. He is survived by his partner, Mary Blagdon, his sister, Shauna (Kevin), and sister-in-law, Judy Grant. He is predeceased by his parents, Harold and Jesse Grant and his brother, Tom Grant.
Craig grew up in North Sydney, Cape Breton where he spent his time playing sports and working at the Deono movie theatre. He had an interesting life as a long-haul truck driver and enjoyed traveling around the country. Craig settled in Beaverbank with Mary 39 years ago, and he loved spending time with his dogs and cats. He lived his life with happiness and contentment and would wish others to do the same. Cremation has taken place, and, as per Craig’s request, there will be no service.
