In Loving Memory
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Cornelius Herman Rozenberg, on August 11, 2022. Cor is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Virginia (Scott) Rozenberg, and four children; Monica Stosius (Eric), Christine Willson (Dale), Mark Rozenberg, and Jennifer Maksimovich (Mark). Dearest brother of John Rozenberg (Rae), Leisbeth LePage, Joan Knoflook and Ina Richardson. Treasured grandpa of Cassandra, Stefan (Becca), Jordan (Lan Anh), Stephanie, Sarah (Neil), and Andersen. Step-grandpa to Quentin, Kyle and Mackenzie. Great Grandpa of Zayden and Esmae. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister, Henrietta Darling (Late Robert), by his inlaws, Gary LePage, Frank Knoflook, and Ron Richardson, and by his parents, Anthonie and Marie (nee VanBrussel). Cor had a long career of 32 years at Dofasco and enjoyed retirement on his farm in Westover before settling in Delhi . He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved his yearly trips with all his buddies. Special thanks to Care Partners Doreen, Sara and Teresa for all their support in transitioning Cor through his final stages in the comfort of his home. Deepest gratitude to Josie. A Celebration of Life will be held at Delhi District German Home on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Private Family Inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations can be made to Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
