Corinne’s Obituary
JACQUARD, Corinne Martha – age 82, Lower Wedgeport, Yarmouth Co., passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born January 9, 1940 in Pinkney’s Point, she was a daughter of the late Willie and Lena (Deveau) DeViller. Corinne was a homemaker, and she and her husband enjoyed camping at Belle Baie Park and Loomers. as well as spending time at their cottage. She also enjoyed watching game shows. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Vernon J. Jacquard; their three daughters, Linda (Michel) Belliveau, Church Point; Anne (Duane) Dakin, Barrington; Colleen (Randy) Doucette, Quinan, along with her grandchildren, Vernon (Katherine), Yvette (Paul), Mason (Cecily), Céline, Ryan and Kelly, and her great grandchildren, Skyler and Jocelyne. Also surviving is a sister, Addie, Vancouver Place, Yarmouth and a brother, Ernie, The Meadows Home for Special Care, Yarmouth. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by siblings, Will, Edward, Adolphe, Albenie, Larry, Wallace, Jenette, Rita, Celina, Genevieve, Mathilda, Evangeline, Ervin, Frank, Howard, Lawrence and Stanley. There will be no visitation by request. A funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m., Friday, May 6 from Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, Wedgeport. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Donations in memory of Corinne may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation or to St. Michael’s Cemetery Fund.
