The passing of Coreen Ann MacKinnon of Fredericton, NB, occurred on April 10, 2022 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on June 26, 1947 in Stanley, NB, she was the daughter of the late Juanita “Neta” Evelyn (English) and Clarence “Ted” Theodore Fraser. Coreen worked for NB Power for 33 years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary (Beaverbrook Branch) and loved watching her Coronation Street on TV.
Coreen is survived by her daughter, Monica Caissie (Daniel); step-granddaughter, Alana Beck; step great grandson Evan Beck; brothers Arthur Fraser (Heather), Robert Fraser (Linda) and Kenneth Fraser; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Coreen was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Gisela and nephew, Kyle Fraser.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 12-2 PM. A Memorial Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 2 pm with Rev. David Luker officiating. By request of the family masks are to be worn during the services. The public is welcome to register to view the livestream at www.yorkfh.com Interment will take place in Nashwaak Bridge Community Cemetery, at a later date. For those who wish, remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
